Llevar and traer

Llevar means to take and Traer means to bring.
The same usage rules, listed below, apply to both English and Spanish.
Llevar
Use llevar when any thing or person is being transported by anyone (including yourself) to a destination where you are not.
- If I am at work and I need to take something home with me, I would use llevar.
Traer
Use traer when any thing or person is being transported by anyone (including yourself) to a destination where you are.
- If I am at home and I ask someone to bring something over, I would use traer.
